About this website fun-led-light

Folks think that LED lights are not really affordable. So I did some calculations and found pretty much the opposite. - Figures here. -

In fact, LEDs are really resource-efficient. But I like LEDs because on the top of all those goodies they are fun to have too -- in so many ways.


Now, many visitors, bloggers and even some reporters from CNet regard me somewhat of an expert. No kidding, I was asked for an interview. So how come I came to know this much about LED lights?

Well. for starters, I read a lot about them before they became a fad. So it is more than just a passing interest for me. And, yes, I keep learning new stuff about them --  and test new ways to present them all the time. And there are a few guys worth learning from. (Check them out at the bottom of this page.)

If you want to get straight about the claims some dealers make about LEDs and the stuff they flog, in addition to FLL visit them too and compare ...

FLL focuses on the more enjoyable side of LEDs and want to share the HOWs and WHATs. And we feature the background information that is needed to understand them.

Your questions

To answer many of your questions, I sweat through a lot of pages to get good answers. And if I still make a mistake, a nice feedback is the best way to keep me on the straight and narrow.

I am a qualified architect and building engineer who is bent on innovation. I run my own practice and became a self-taught CRC scientist to consult better on Building Information Modelling which is becoming a big thing here. We run this website FLL from Blackburn, Victoria, Australia. That's on the southern side of the globe so if you are up North, we sleep when you post. (Oh, and we have Christmas in our bathers.)

I often brake from lengthy drawings to the more enjoyable keyboard in front of the screen. And I use a Rollermouse instead of a traditional mouse because it's easier and more fun.

What gets me going are my family and the many great posts I get from friends and interested FLL visitors like you.
